The Assistant Front Office Manager will have oversight of the front office staff, cash control for agents, staffing needs, and guest services. Additional responsibilities may include training, staff development and scheduling.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest services.

Ensure outstanding guest service by providing a warm welcome, addressing concerns promptly, and exceeding expectations.

Supervise, train, and motivate front office staff to uphold service standards and hotel policies.

Monitor guest feedback and reviews, and take corrective action to resolve issues.

Handle guest complaints and special requests in a professional and efficient manner.

Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Assist with scheduling and payroll, ensuring adequate staffing coverage for all shifts.

Oversee cash handling procedures, billing, and nightly audits in coordination with the accounting department.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security policies.
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, room rates, packages, and promotions.

Take charge of Front Office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

2+ years of experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
-
Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro, or similar).
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
Preferred Skills:

Multilingual abilities are an asset.

Familiarity with guest loyalty programs.

Experience in training and performance management.
