Position Overview:
The Associate, Corporate Accounting is responsible for the analysis and processing of intercompany transactions, and for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations, account analysis, and financial reports for various business units.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions across Core’s entities and related parties
- Process intercompany billings and settlement in compliance with accounting policies
- Collaborate with accounts payable, T&E, property/development/fund accounting teams on a regular basis to settle intercompany balances and research any intercompany variances
- Prepare journal entries in compliance with US GAAP and the company’s policies and procedures, including supporting documentation and approvals
- Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly financial statements for corporate entities in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring all balances are properly stated and supporting schedules are accurate and complete
- Review G/L coding and descriptions on invoices and expense reports for corporate entities
- Complete ad-hoc requests in conjunction with the Corporate Accounting team
- Respond to internal inquiries as needed
Ideally, you'll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 1+ years of related experience
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working in an open, team-oriented environment
You'll crush it if you have experience with:
- Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Experience with real estate accounting

Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Final salary within this range will depend on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, typically ranging between 10% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance.
