Job Description:
Apex Systems is seeking multiple Sr. Planning Engineers to join our esteemed client in the telecommunications industry. This role is fully remote and based out of Colorado.
Compensation: $60-62.50/hr
Format: Fully remote

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of HVAC and electrical systems projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align project milestones and deliverables.
- Efficiently assess and allocate human and material resources to meet project demands while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical expertise in HVAC mechanical systems and AC/DC electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with design teams to review and optimize system designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and performance expectations.
- Monitor and analyze project progress, addressing deviations from planned schedules and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project reviews, audits, and compliance purposes.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 6+ years of related field or technical experience.
- Proven experience in planning and managing HVAC and AC/DC electrical systems projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards for HVAC mechanical and AC/DC electrical systems.
- Ability to thrive in a work-from-anywhere model, demonstrating effective time management and productivity with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, and SQL.
- Positive and professional attitude, appearance, and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in telecommunications, particularly in facilities, data centers, or colocation environments.
- Experience in an engineering role with a strong business or financial focus.
