Reporting to the US Commercial Finance Lead, the Senior Manager FP&A will be a key member of the US FP&A team supporting the growing US commercial business. S/he will play a critical role in the financial planning process focusing on value creation and aligning resources with strategic priorities. They will be responsible for participating in the monthly close process and supporting certain aspects of the close working with US Accounting. They will report directly to the US Commercial Finance Lead.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the business drivers across the full commercial P&L brand partners (volume/sales, trade, COGS, marketing, SG&A) and price/volume/mix analysis
Support the development & maintenance of the group monthly financial reporting and analysis packages
Develop and maintain a long-range planning (LRP) and Sales and operating model for multiple indications argenx US
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to key business partners in US Commercial and influence best decision making through financial data and analytics
Interact as a business partner with various parts of the Commercial team to build financial discipline into all key business decisions
Partners with Human Resources on headcount reporting, forecasting and planning
Participate on special projects as needed
Maintain and upgrade of the local planning and reporting systems

Advanced Analytical abilities, underscored by a track record of financial modeling, with a preference for expertise in revenue modeling
Excellent IT knowledge including Microsoft Office
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics
Advanced degree or MBA preferred
Biopharma or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Minimum of 6+ years of overall combined finance, FP&A or accounting experience
Advanced Analytical abilities, underscored by a track record of financial modeling, with a preference for expertise in revenue modeling
