





About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) supporting Corporate Risk - Employee Compliance. You will be a member of a fast-paced agile team providing application design, testing, implementation support, and system rollout of modernized applications that facilitate retirement of legacy systems. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements and existing systems to produce design specifications, collaborating on user stories and tasks, developing software, and testing. Expectations include tight collaboration with other engineers and business partners, keeping pace with technology innovation, and investment into emerging AI technologies. You will be empowered to always take the initiative, propose ideas, and push the envelope on code first UI/UX designs.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design patterns and development
- 5+ years of C# .NET experience
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using technologies such as Microservices and Rest API’s
- 5+ years of web application development experience using Angular
- 5+ years of experience MS SQL Databases
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering
- Advanced .NET C# skillset, especially ASP.NET WebAPI
- Advanced Angular front end development skillset
- An industry-standard technology certification in Google or Microsoft Cloud and/or AI
- Experience with Dev-Ops, CICD Pipeline, Jenkins, SonarQube
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar GenAI tools
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Unit Testing, integration testing, API testing, Performance Testing, and Functional testing
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
- Quick learner passionate about learning new and emerging technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile (Scrum)
- Experience on working with large application development teams of 10+ team members

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00Benefits
