Collegium Pharmaceutical is building a leading, diversified biopharmaceutical company committed to improving the lives of people living with serious medical conditions. We have a leading portfolio of responsible pain management and neuropsychiatry medications.

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Director of National Accounts (DNA) will support the commercialization of Collegium’s products. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with national and select regional managed care organizations and communicating the value of Collegium’s products.  They will partner with internal stakeholders including Market Access &Trade, Commercial, Medical Affairs and Sales to make data-driven decisions and successfully manage pull through opportunities.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Communicate the clinical and economic value of Collegium’s products to managed care organizations in accordance with brand positioning and account-level pricing strategy 
  • Educate pharmacy directors and secure favorable access to Collegium’s products by utilizing supporting tools such as budget impact models, clinical data, and disease-state 
  • Manage and negotiate private payer contracts for select target accounts 
  • Devise clear and concise account plans/profiles and account access goals that are grounded in customer analytics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence 
  • Collaborate with Market Access & Trade team to make data-driven contracting decisions 
  • Educate and train the Commercial and Sales teams on evolving market and account-level dynamics 
  • Partner with the Sales team on pull through opportunities related to key formulary decisions 
  • Assist with the development of Collegium’s payer value proposition and market access strategy for our products 
  • Lead monthly pull-through calls with field organization  
  • Uphold and consistently demonstrate Collegium’s Core Values

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar required 
  • 10-12 years of related experience required 
  • Prior experience as a national or regional account director with current pharmacy director relationships throughout the managed care community required 
  • Experience in pain management space required 
  • Strong team player who brings a sense of urgency to every account interaction and thrives in a collaborative decision-making environment 
  • Experience with basic market access data tools (Fingertip Formulary/MMIT, IMS FIA) required  
Pay Range$267,100—$281,300 USD
