Full Job Description

We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and well-rounded content marketer to write and edit content for the cyber security, networking, and developer audiences. If you're the right candidate, then storytelling, clear communication, and organizational skills arein your DNA. Your colleagues would describe you as resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and open to acting on constructive feedback. You probably have your company's style guide memorized - and you have a sixth sense for when a piece of content isn't striking the right tone. This team member will also forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create
strategic content that suits the audience's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and curate original content for the cyber security, networking, and developer personas in a way that is search optimized, relevant, and informative
  • Leverage content of all kinds - including customer interviews, brand journalism, multimedia series, and long-form articles - to meet content marketing goals and objectives
  • Interview customers and internal experts to tell their unique, inspiring stories
  • Own the content creation process from pitch to publication and promotion
  • Uphold voice and tone in every piece of content
  • Collaborate with product marketing, demand generation, social media, customer marketing, events, brand, creative, localization, and web experience as key stakeholders
  • Craft derivative content to help meet the needs of niche audiences across global and industries
  • Meet fast-paced deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or professional writing/editing at a tech company (or within a similar fast-paced industry)
  • Knowledge of how to speak to CxOs (specifically CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs), security leaders, and developer audiences, as well as content marketing, social media, and content delivery trends.
  • Creative thinker who can not only identify gaps or opportunities, but also offers ways to address them.
  • When you encounter obstacles, you find an effective solution with a positive mindset.
  • Stay up to date of SEO best practices and proven track record of optimizing content for organic traffic growth.
  • Excessively organized. Your calendar is your best friend, and while leading meetings with stakeholders, you make sure their time is well spent.
  • Proven ability to work well externally: with customers, with channel partners, and with agencies.
  • Experience with crafting video scripts is a plus.
  • Experience working with Asana a plus.
