Full Job Description
WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Level B Welder.
Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary by site.
* Performs repairs and maintenance on front and read load, and roll-off containers, cuts/weld repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
* Grinds metal parts after welding
* Weld steel and aluminum components using Mig, Tig and arc welding equipment.
* Bends steel components using a break ad shear.
* Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
* Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.
* Installs lids and wheels on containers.
* Paints repaired and/or new containers.
* Performs on-site repairs at customer locations.
* Follows all safety policies and procedures.
* Completes required paperwork.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
* Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
Physical Requirements:
The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual requirements of this position will vary.
* Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds.
* Climb into and out of equipment.
Experience, Education, Certification:
Required:
* One year welding experience.
* Use of computers to update assigned work orders.
Preferred:
* Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
* Valid Driver's License
