UX Writer, Commerce and Subscription

HYBRID 2x per week in office! 1 YEAR CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL TO EXTEND! 

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented UX Writer to join our team, focusing on enhancing user experience across our commerce and subscription platforms. The ideal candidate will craft clear, user-centered content that engages customers throughout the checkout process and ensures a seamless product experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create user-focused copy for commerce and subscription products, including checkout flows and payment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content that aligns with brand values and enhances user experience.
• Edit and refine content based on user feedback and legal requirements while maintaining privacy and security standards.
• Develop functional specifications and wireframes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Lead projects that improve user engagement and satisfaction, ensuring attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Contribute to localization efforts to make content accessible to diverse audiences.
• Facilitate presentations and discussions to advocate for user needs and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in UX writing, particularly in the commerce and subscription domains.
• Strong understanding of user experience principles, including usability and accessibility.
• Experience with checkout flows, payments, and subscription services.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, legal, and product teams.
• Excellent editing skills with a keen eye for detail in both content and design aspects.
• Proficiency in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with localization practices and the ability to adapt content for different markets.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
