Where We Need You:
We are looking for a U.S. Regional Marketing and Event Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team located in Chicago. Protiviti works in a hybrid environment and this role requires that you work in-person at a Protiviti office several times per week.
What You Can Expect:
As the U.S. Regional Marketing and Event Specialist, you will be responsible for executing all geographically based marketing events for the Minneapolis, Cleveland and Pittsburgh markets as well as providing additional support for the entire U.S. Regional Marketing program, as needed. You will report to the West and Central Region Marketing Manager.
Our U.S. Regional marketing team engages buyer audiences within individual markets through the execution of various marketing activities, including event programs, local ecosystem/partner events, brand events, professional association events, and account-based events for Premier Growth Partner accounts. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for our key buyers. For the markets you are responsible for, you will serve as the primary point of contact for local marketing requests and will collaborate with the respective Market Leaders and designated practice leaders to strategize and align activities with the market strategy and goals.
What You Will Be Doing:
Collaborate with respective leaders to align activities with market strategy, budget, and timing.
Partner with designated practice leads to define target audiences and program specifics.
Create and manage Salesforce campaigns for each activity.
Develop and execute event assets, including registration pages, invitations, communications, and event collateral
Ensure high-quality execution of all activities to deliver exceptional experiences
Provide post-event reports detailing attendance, feedback, and future improvements
Manage all aspects of event project management, including venue selection, vendor coordination, contracts, and invoices
Organize and manage call schedules with practice and stakeholders
Oversee and track marketing budget and expenses for each market
Partner with national marketing to align content and topic priorities
Present regular marketing updates to local leadership
Collaborate with the U.S. Regional marketing team to drive continuous improvement
Provide support for the entire U.S. Regional Marketing program and U.S. Regional Strategic Lead
What Will Make You Successful:
Impeccable project-management skills - very organized, extremely detailed oriented, and able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
A strong understanding of event management and experiential marketing with a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment where flexibility is required.

Time management and the ability to work on several initiatives at the same time, being able to prioritize their importance and urgency.

The business savviness and confidence to present in large management meetings, to local and regional leadership and clients.
Excellent budget management skills and the ability to negotiate with various venues, vendors and organizations.
The ability to collect data and feedback to report on the success of your initiatives and how to improve for the future.
A team player who is always looking for more innovative, efficient, and effective ways to better our marketing program and organization.
A willingness to travel locally up to 10%-20% to execute high-profile marketing activities and build relationships with leadership within your markets and the greater organization.
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (marketing, communications, or related field)
3+ years of experience in marketing or event planning role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and event management tools

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
$58,000.00 - $87,000.00Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.
5%The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.
$60,900.00 - $91,350.00Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
