Serve as the primary Marketing contact to the business represented and work with Truist Leadership Institute, Truist Marketing, and other key stakeholders to develop marketing plans and tactics that leverage marketing capabilities to achieve business goals, enhance client experience, and acquire, grow and retain profitable client relationships. Collaborate with internal and external marketing partners to develop and execute marketing programs for the business; ensure alignment of all strategies to the Truist Leadership Institute and Truist Purpose and Brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and implement marketing strategies intended to achieve operational and financial results. Incorporate a sophisticated understanding of clients through interpretation and user research and analytics, incorporating all marketing channels as needed to meet goals and objectives, with a specific focus on deepening client relationships and acquiring new business opportunities.

2. Ensure that Truist Leadership Institute’s brand messaging, positioning, and all supporting components are consistent, cohesive, current, and well-organized for easy access for stakeholders. Consistently monitor competitor approaches and offerings and position our strategy for long-term success.

3. Provide strategic direction and manage Truist Leadership Institute’s digital presence. Oversee and deliver the creative, copy writing, process management, quality, and up-keep for all Truist Leadership Institute LinkedIn and online (TLI website, Truist/other websites, email, SEO, SEM, etc.) efforts. Partner with social teammates to cross- promote content and drive brand awareness. Responsible for annual content calendar, reporting, and strategy to assist in driving sales revenue.

4. Lead the publication efforts for various forms of content, including, but not limited to: articles, Purple Papers, position papers, blogs and other media outlets. Own the process for end to end content development for Truist leadership Institute, taking promotions and campaigns from ideation to fruition and through all processes, including interfacing with legal, brand, compliance, and governance partners.

5. Lead highly complex and visible projects and programs with notable risk and often competing priorities. Exercise independent judgment in solving challenges across marketing, digital, legal, risk, and compliance, as well as client-facing areas of the bank to deliver marketing results that deepen relationships and drive sales revenues.

6. Design and implement ongoing strategies and campaigns to educate and motivate referral sources, with a particular emphasis on CCB and Wealth partners. Attend sales meetings and client events as appropriate.

7. Act as SME for all marketing related questions related to Truist Leadership Institute and strategically interpret internal and external business challenges to implement best practices and improve products, processes, or services.

8. Develop and manage marketing budgets and resource allocation. Work directly with vendors to execute deliverables, manage contracts, and oversee annual marketing spend.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline; sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes managing a process
4. Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications, with ability to be thorough and accurate
5. Strong relationship building skills resulting in the ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective
6. Demonstrated budget management experience
7. Proficiency with social media with a working knowledge of LinkedIn and other business related social media tools
8. Strong organizational skills, presentation and communication skills, and a high attention to detail
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and identify and resolve problems in a timely and accurate manner
10. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
11. Ability to endure light physical labor, including moving tables and chairs and A/V equipment
12. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry
13. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or Master’s degree in related field
2. Fifteen years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
3. Psychology or Human systems background
