Our client is looking for a Technical Director to join their team to lead their Production Studio that is newly renovated and growing, hybrid onsite in Washington DC.
The Technical Director must have proven Production Studio Management experience and a strong background in managing a growing Production Studio.
Techinical Director Responsibilities:
- Manage hybrid in-person and virtual production of events within a professional production studio.
- Oversee all aspects of production including scheduling of roster of freelancer roster to support successful production.
- Apply proven technical production skills including audio and video hardware and software to produce virtual and hybrid events across platforms including vMix, Zoom and Youtube.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to enhance production execution and expanded projects across video and podcasts.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to Communications Leadership to enhance and optimize events strategy and programming.
- Support audience growth and engagement through exceptional production quality and product.
Technical Director Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of live studio and AV Production experience, producing events across multimedia formats.
- Proven experience managing a Production Studio, including live and hybrid event production.
- Impeccable management and leadership skills to support production team's goals and objectives, including management and scheduling of a freelance roster.
- Strong communication, management and project management skills to ensure high-quality events are produced successfully.
- Proven A/V Experience including Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, and vMix, Zoom and Youtube.
