Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a part-time (20-24 hours/week) Tech Writer / Configuration Management Analyst to support a critical role in supporting a client's Human Resources - Enterprise Resource Planning system.
The ideal candidate:
Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, runbooks, procedural documents, and schedules to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering processes. Analyzes proposed changes to determine effect on overall product or system. Coordinates modification records for management control.
Writes and edits technical and non-technical documentation for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and understandability. Takes meeting minutes and provides reports. Maintains program documentation, organization, and content on Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Hive, and share drives. Leads re-occurring division tag-ups and other meetings as required. Supports scrum ceremonies and scrum master.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- 10+ years of experience in configuration management support
- 15+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, and program support
- 15+ years supporting IT programs or projects
- 5+ years' experience supporting software development projects
- Experienced in creating content, organizing, and maintaining Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Hive project sites/pages to include access and configuration management duties
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Experience in briefing executives
- Experience in leading meetings in person, via VTC, and via other electronic means
- Experience in providing technical and non-technical guidance and suggested improvements to documentation, meetings, and agendas
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, engineering, or other technical discipline
- PMP certification
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Process improvement mindset
