Role Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Wilbur-Ellis by partnering with hiring managers to understand business needs and delivering strategic recruitment solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role influences hiring decisions through market insights and talent expertise while ensuring the delivery of high-quality candidates who align with company goals. From sourcing through onboarding, the TA Business Partner manages the full-cycle recruitment process and is committed to providing an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience that reflects the values and culture of Wilbur-Ellis.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in This Role:
Partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Identify and source top talent through various channels including job boards, social media, referrals, and other creative methods.
Conduct comprehensive candidate screenings and interviews to ensure that the best fit for the role and the organization.
Manage the candidate’s experience, ensuring a positive and engaging process throughout the recruitment process.
Collaborate with hiring managers and People & Culture to make data-driven decisions throughout the recruitment process including pay recommendations.
Negotiate and extend job offers to successful candidates, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment.
Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, local High Schools and Colleges, Trade Schools, and other relevant stakeholders.
Manage the recruitment software and tools to ensure a streamlined and efficient recruitment process.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current recruiting trends, practices, and technology.
Monitor recruitment metrics to measure and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
Establish and implement an innovative talent acquisition process using strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
What You Bring to The Role:
10+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 15+ years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven track record of executing strategic talent acquisition plans in partnership with senior leadership and HR business partners.
Deep understanding of candidate experience, diversity & inclusion recruiting, and talent market dynamics, particularly in competitive talent environments.
Experience utilizing data and analytics to drive recruiting strategies, optimize processes, and communicate performance metrics to stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, coach leaders on talent acquisition best practices, and influence hiring outcomes.
Prior experience working in matrixed and fast-paced environments, ideally within large enterprises or global organization.
