You will be the Strategic Requirements Analyst Principal for our Air Weapons and Sensors Strategy and Business Development Team in Orlando, FL. Our team supports the larger Strategy and Business Development organization with early opportunity identification, capture and strategy support for airpower weapons and sensors in support of multiple lines of business, and we're looking for a thought leader and operational subject matter expert to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Strategic Requirements Analyst Principal, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment of requirements, capabilities, and priorities between USG acquisition, requirements, and operational stakeholders and our team. You will support advanced development teams to develop a credible engineering and OA supported efforts, therefore, coordination with Advanced Programs with lab and early 6.2/6.3 technology development will be critical. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting product development teams to ensure clear understanding of customer needs and advanced employment of weapon systems
* Communicating frequently with government customers to understand issues and develop effective solutions
* Developing and providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to drive innovation and growth while addressing DoD operational needs
* Building campaign plans to capture new business, supporting capture teams, and win competitions
* Participating in the development and implementation of new products and services, spiral developments, and new business pursuits

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Top Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to work and gain credibility with executive leadership, senior military, and civilian leaders.
* Comprehensive knowledge of warfighter aerial employment tactics, weapons employment and related weapons programs. Working knowledge of space based targeting and communication systems.
* Broad industry and Department of Defense knowledge.
* Former USAF Fighter Pilot / Weapon Systems Operator
* Extensive experience building strong and productive relationships with key individuals in the US military.
* Ability to work in a demanding, high stress environment. Demonstrated crisis management skills.
* Existing relationships with key individuals in the US Air Force fighter / weapons programs.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Track record of exceptional performance in relevant assignments.
* Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security / SCI Clearance, and must obtain an Interim Top Secret prior to start.
Desired Skills:
* US Air Force weapon school instructor or graduate. Extensive background in development of tactics and employment of air to air and air to surface weapon systems.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of US military
acquisition process, requirements development and
budgetary process.
* Experience with US Air Force fighter/bomber
weapons development, test or employment.
* 5th Generation Fighter experience, F-22 / F35.
* Existing relationship with relevant US Air Force
Commands, to include but not limited to (Eglin Test, Nellis Adversary, ACC, etc.)
* Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 18 or more years of professional experience; or 15 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
* Experience working with international partners operationally and understanding of coalition operations as well as the FMS process.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
