The Role
We are looking for a Storage Administrator to handle the storage and backup technology and in constant verbal and written contact with key stakeholders and peers in India and U.S.As a Storage administrator you would be responsible for day-to-day Incidents and solving them in effective manner and following the Problem Management process. There is also expectations to handle service requests such as e-provisioning and deallocation, data restores, migration tasks and also DR support activity. In the backup perspective, you will need to manage the monitoring backup jobs, service request management. This involves resolving service request tickets, monitor the backup jobs and take proactive steps to ensure 100% success rate, client, media agent and Comm-server upgrade and patch updates, backup and restore requests. This team also handles Windows and VMWare support so any experience in those operating systems and hypervisors is a huge plus.
This is a Shift role Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed (10 hours each day) - with occasional expectations to work on other days when coverage may be short.

Enterprise Infrastructure is a service organization. This group is responsible for managing SAN/NAS Storage and its' DATA-PROTECTION Infrastructure across all the Business Units in Fidelity!The Expertise and Skills we're Looking For
- Working knowledge of storage subsystems and SAN/NAS/CAS Infrastructure is a must (e.g. Pure and Infinidat arrays)
- Knowledge on Commvault Backup software (preferred) or any backup software is must
- Working knowledge of Windows and VMWare is a huge plus as this shift also will be covering Incidents on VMWare environment
- Good working knowledge on SAN switches
- Proven knowledge of any NAS product (NetApp)
- Any previous Linux Administration experience is huge plus
- Knowledge on Hyper-converged environment
- Good verbal and written communication
The Nice to have Skills:
- Knowledge of Linux, VMWare flavor is a huge plus
- Knowledge on any scripting languages.
- Basic knowledge on Cloud technology.
