Our client, a start-up wealth management company, is looking for a full-time Staff Product Designer to join their team! This role is onsite 5 days per week at their office in Lower Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity to help reshape the design team within this well-funded, consumer-focused company with an established customer base and product roadmap.
The ideal has a background working on digital consumer products and is willing to provide a mix of strategy and hands-on execution to lead design processes from ideation to launch.
Staff Product Designer Responsibilities:
-Drive their product design strategy, and scope complex design problems into actionable roadmap workstreams
-Define what design process should look like, and ensure user experiences are end-to-end cohesive
-Translate user + stakeholder feedback into improved design outcomes, and lead collaboration across multiple teams
-Champion a customer-centered approach to design
Staff Product Designer Requirements:
-Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product design, and a portfolio showcasing high quality work
-Experience designing consumer digital experiences
-Familiarity with AI and how it can enhance user experience
-Mastery of Figma, and prototyping tools like Principle or Origami
-A strong eye for interaction design + visual polish
-Interest in shaping design culture and processes
-Experience working in FinTech is a plus!
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
