COMMENTS:



This Sr. Sales Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the broader sales organization for branded and private label segments. This person will be the Sr. Sales Ops representative into a combined go to market initiative for Sauce and Flavor Enhancers business segments from integrated manufacturing, supply chain and order to cash . This role will oversee accuracy of data within TPM system (Telus Exceedra), address any TPM system integration issues with ERP system (Dynamics 365). Ideal candidate will think through existing and future processes to automate and make such processes more efficient working closely with IT, Sales, and Finance business partners.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




• Oversee administration of pricing, hierarchy of products, customers, account access rights for direct and brokered sales organization. Maintain price lists, accurate UOM conversions, and new/discontinue item list and timely communication.
• Oversee timely addressing of Exceedra (Telus) trade system technical issues (ETL/XML errors) including integration with the ERP system (Dynamics 365).
• Accountable for building policies and system-based processes to ensure systems continue to work seamlessly. Identify areas to strengthen inter-system connectivity that adds more accuracy and automation to process work to run the business more efficiently.
• This person will also be responsible to work with IT to build proper reporting dashboards (Power BI) and holding sales teams accountable for various matrices like efficiency allowances, bracket pricing, terms etc.
• Anticipate needs and proactively work with teams to take action. Oversee business operations with cross functional teams: Direct Sales, Brokers, Finance, Supply Chain, & IT.
• Oversee broker contracts, monthly commission calculations and payments, tracking/ score-carding performance communicating company policies (SCEP/Brackets, terms etc).
• Lead outside service annual budgeting, Coupa payments and monthly budget tracking.
• Work with demand planning teams and have working knowledge of their system (ORI) and be able to assess potential impact to forecast/shipments due to any sales/ops customer hierarchy/pricing etc. changes.
• Work with planning team to organize planning material in Teams/One Drive.
• Thought leader for any future CRM enhancement including sales enablement, own the relationship with partner. Train the sales team on forecasting process.
• Communication and tracking of policy changes with direct and brokered sales teams.
• Actively coach and develop (4) sales operations team members. Communicate objectives and expectations clearly. Facilitate skill, behavior and career development.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:




• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a business-related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Sales Ops/Trade Planning/Reporting within the CPG industry.
• Strong competency working with systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Exceedra TPM).
• Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Power BI (use)) and working knowledge of syndicated data (Nielsen / IRI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while working closely with broad cross-functional team.



The annual base salary for this position ranges from $118,900.00 to $164,400.00.



Compensation is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Short-Term Incentives and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package.
