Responsibilities:
- Analyze property operating statements and rent rolls to calculate a loan's relevant credit metrics using current commercial property underwriting standards. Engage property owners and external loan servicers to resolve any outstanding concerns, including vacancies and leasing strategies, the status of lease renewals, material changes in debt service coverage. Order and review annual property inspections to ensure the lender's security is being properly maintained and managed. Inform management of potential problems or risks associated with the loan.
- Administer commercial real estate tax payments and escrow accounts to avoid any tax penalties and/or property liens. Maintain appropriate documentation to meet lender's and borrower's requirements as proof of payment on each security. Perform an annual tax escrow analysis to ensure proper funding of the account.
- Review evidence of proper insurance coverage in accordance with the loan documents and lender's requirements. Work directly with borrower and insurance agent to obtain the necessary documentation and adjust policies when appropriate. Manage process and risk associated with any property insurance loss.
- Prepare consent letters and necessary loan documentation which includes, but is not limited to, subordination and escrow agreements, condemnations/partial releases, secondary financing documentation, and handling miscellaneous requests as they arise. Work directly with borrowers, attorneys, property managers, etc. to obtain any necessary documentation. Prepare payoff releases and Uniform Commercial Code filings in accordance with state regulations and lender's requirements.
- Manage relationships with the underwriters, borrowers, mortgage bankers/servicers and property managers. Properly maintain records of all loan servicing correspondence and documentation in the electronic imaging system.
- Manage the system data for assigned loan portfolio. This includes set-up and continuous maintenance of loan data in the mortgage system to meet lender and regulatory requirements. Proactively track all date critical loan events including interest rate adjustments, calls and impending maturities. Timely and critical follow up on any delinquent mortgage payments. Engage underwriters and counsel for resolution.
- Additional job responsibilities may include support to loan processing group, including drafting applications, review of loan closing documentation or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in commercial real estate lending/servicing.
- Ability to work fast-paced environment while managing multiple demands.
- Must have excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interface with multiple teams and individuals at various levels.
- Must be able to work independently with strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and interest in learning the commercial mortgage systems.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $74,800 - $101,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
