Job Summary
Within the finance function, we aim to drive process improvement through digital automation. Join our finance innovation team to build upon recent successes of digital automation. This resource will be responsible for analyzing and improving business finance processes end to end with a focus on Procure to Pay and/or Order to cash process. Lead the execution of data analysis, identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and enhance the vendor/customer experience. This opportunity provides a frontline role in our digital transformation efforts.This resource must have a proactive approach to problem solving and working with cross functional team members in finance and other functions such as Divisions, Operations and Information systems to make cross functional end to end processes more efficient for Medline by saving thousands of hours by automating processes.
Job Description
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use digital workflows and tools to realize the time savings of robotic process automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate those into improved process solutions. Drive simplification, process improvement and automation.
Analyze real time performance data to establish baseline measurements and success factors for each project.
Use process improvement methodologies such as documenting current state and future state end to end process, data analysis/measurement and problem solving to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide periodic updates to business case, project work plan, and status for the prioritized simplification project.
Identify, develop, deploy and maintain critical KPI's tied to AP and AR success factors to monitor end to end process.
This is a high-level individual contributor role leading day-to-day analysis, building visualization reporting and outcomes of a matrix project team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 4 years of professional work experience in one or more of the following fields: project management, financial analysis or accounting/finance process improvement.
Process mapping and requirements gathering skills
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, creating a pivot table, etc).
Additional
Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ is accomplished within tight timeframes.
Experience working with cross functional teams and having strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills..
Knowledge of SAP and/or AP/AR processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
Additional
Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.
Experience in data analytics and how they are used in conjunction with LEAN Six Sigma principles utilizing the DEFINE/MEASURE/ANALYZE/IMPROVE/CONTROL (DMAIC) process
Strong analytical skills (using tools such as Alteryx, power Bi, etc) and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities through data.
Worked on project teams using robotic automation, workflow automation, or artificial intelligence tools.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$85,280.00 - $123,760.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
