Job Description
This role involves a combination of individual lab technician work and the leadership of a small team of engineering technicians. Safety is of most importance to us at BAE Systems, and this role requires a trained individual that will promote and enforce safety protocols around High Voltage/High Power (HV/HP) applications. This role also includes management of a hardware development laboratory. The individual is expected to procure electronic equipment for test and circuit card assembly (CCA) builds, manage lab space to accommodate multiple develop programs and work with engineers to provide them with resources they need.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Has obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar; or has equivalent experience
Train engineering technicians on hardware laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters, etc.
Manage workload and delegate tasks to a small team of junior engineering technicians.
Test magnetic components.
Have an ability to read electrical schematics and to troubleshoot to the component level.
Procure electronic components and electronic equipment to support lab activities.
High Voltage/High Power training and experience
Strong communication skills and ability to learn and work well with others
Microsoft Office software experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, & Powerpoint

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline or has equivalent experience.
Detailed knowledge of various types of circuits, including Digital, Analog and Switching Power Supplies.
Soldering experience with surface mount components
High Voltage/High Power training and experience
Experience testing avionics or other high reliability equipment.
Experience with a PWB creation tool such as Eagle PCB, Circuit Creator or equivalent

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
