Summary:

We are seeking a leader who will be responsible for leading and developing Vivint's Program Management Office.This includes leading and building a team of high performing leaders. This candidate will manage a complex portfolio spanning across Vivint's business - including innovative new technologies and projects while balancing security projects.The successful candidate is a self-starter, thrives in a dynamic fast past environment, and is passionate about developing and scaling a talented team of program managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set vision and strategy for next gen PMO
  • Develop and hire a high performing team
  • Own and manage complex projects
  • Define long and short term roadmaps across Vivint's strategic initiatives and business functions
  • Lead quarterly alignment to confirm Roadmap vision and commitments
  • Evolve key processes to ensure stellar planning as well as scale (Agile, prioritization and release mgmt)
  • Lead team that defines and drives vision and requirements of projects and programs in execution
  • Ensure success of projects by managing scope, recognizing and resolving issues, managing and motivating team, managing resource contention, and shifting priorities when needed
  • Welcome and embrace tough conversations for trade-off and options with business leaders
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities for new solutions
  • Partner with all leaders and function to successfully deliver in a matrixed organization
  • Communicate and align strategy with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Be a driving force in the company's leadership team - share your passion, thoughts and help us build a great company that attracts top talent

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management, or other relevant area; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Strong strategic thinking ability and demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is a way of life
  • Possess high energy, motivation, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence
  • Strong team-orientation
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
