The role of the senior director - HR digital solutions leader serves as the strategic partner to Aerospace business within Honeywell. This role will be responsible for developing the strategic approach, design optimal transition strategy and optimize HR technology ecosystem aligned to the future requirement of Aerospace business as part of the separation from Honeywell enterprise.

This role will lead the execution of the HR technology transition as an HR functional specialist partnering closely with the broader enterprise functions such as HR, IT, Finance and Legal etc. The scope of this role will include end to end Hire to retire processes and associated digital platforms and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Vision:

  • Develop and implement HR technology strategies aligned with Aerospace business goals and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for HR process improvement and efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging HR technology trends and best practices and pivot the approach to adopt most optimal roadmap.

HR Systems Design and Delivery:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive HR technology solutions that supports Aerospace objectives and future needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of all HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, Talent management, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Learning, Case management and employee engagement platforms.
  • Analyze current HR processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation through technology.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure systems align with broader technological infrastructure and data security standards.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure systems align with Aerospace financial structure and headcount alignment standards.
  • Collaborate with legal, Data privacy and LER to align with global compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for conducting work flow analyses, evaluating system changes required to support HR functions, and designing and implementing test plans to validate those changes.
  • Run User acceptance testing where applicable and work with project team on issue/defect resolutions.

Project Management:

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for HR technology projects in partnership with transition team and key collaborators in IT.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies for all countries in scope.
  • Lead large-scale HR technology projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership to enable decision making.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between HR and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful technology deployment and adoption.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding HR technology initiatives.
  • Partner with IT to evaluate and select HR tech vendors. Partner with HR tech vendors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in HR technology with 5+ years of progressive leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR solutions and their implementation. Strong knowledge of leading HR products such as Oracle/Workday HCM and ServiceNow
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of HR technologies, including HRIS, ATS, Payroll, talent management systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a global, matrixed organization through complex project deployment.
  • Experience establishing HR Tech processes and infrastructure in a high-growth organization, preferably in a high-tech, multinational, large employee base companies.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, excellent problem-solving, critical thinking coupled with significant business and financial acumen.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills with the ability to represent the People Team on cross functional projects and make recommendations to key executives.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems like Oracle HCM, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle OTBI & Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher
