The Solution Consultant will utilize best practices and methodologies to gather requirements, design, configure, implement, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions for our Clients. This consultant will work with internal teams, Clients, and vendors providing subject matter expertise and hands-on implementation experience. This is a consultant position and will be expected to assist with managing Client expectations and scope. This position will be expected to accomplish a variety of implementations while continuously learning and adding to their skillset. Duties may include pre-sales assistance, business requirements gathering, design/configuration, testing, quality assurance, training, and Client support. The Solution Consultant is also expected to work well independently and with a team. Proficiency in developing solutions that integrate seamlessly across platforms and leveraging cutting-edge tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize workflows is essential. This role demands a dynamic problem-solver who can adapt quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining a steadfast commitment to delivering excellence. This position is Client facing and must excel in customer engagement and strive to provide high quality services.
Responsibilities:- Learns, utilizes, and promotes Arctic IT's Best Practices and Implementation Methodology
- Works with team members and works independently to configure Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Power Pages, and key third-party products. This work would include building custom entities, configuration of various components (business processes, workflows, and flows), security configuration, and report writing
- Leads Client meetings to gather business requirements and designs solutions that meet the requirements
- Performs gap analysis from requirements gathered to solution proposed
- Completes design/configuration of the solutions
- Completes project documentation such as: Analysis Document, User Acceptance Test Scenarios, and End User Training Documentation/Quick Reference Guides
- Utilizes Microsoft Azure DevOps to track project tasks
- Participates in all tasks relating to requirements gathering, feature testing, solution testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing
- Performs end user training for Clients in one on one, webinar, and classroom style settings
- Provides application support for Clients during Go Live cut-over
- Provides escalation support for help desk
- Works with management to keep projects on schedule and makes recommendations to meet deadlines
- Performs demonstrations of solutions to Clients as required
- Supports Functional Consulting Manager(s), Solution Architects, Senior Solution Consultants, and other Solution Consultants with various duties
- Obtain and maintain Microsoft and other solution certifications, as applicable
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Microsoft Power Platform, Power Pages, and base understanding of the entity and Object Model.
- 2+ years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or Field Service (Microsoft CRM or CE) experience with a base understanding of the entity and Object Model with a consulting background
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Microsoft 365
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence as a part of daily tasks
- Strong understanding of software implementation life cycle, project management, business process management, requirements definition, functional design, quality management, and change management
- Must have a valid state driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and auto insurance
- Applicants subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements related to the clearance process

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work for this role is performed in a home office and interacts with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Telecommuters are expected to have sufficient home office space that appears neat, organized, and professional when on video meetings. Travel is required and varies around 25%.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The individual will be subject to sedentary work with the majority of hours in a professional office environment and will need to be able to quickly respond to a change in work demands. The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects (1-40 lbs.) are required.
