Full Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Worker Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products. You will work as part of a team to ensure the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction. With your expertise in sheet metal work, you will contribute to the success of our Industrial Automation business.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location.

In this role, you will impact the production process by fabricating and assembling sheet metal products according to specifications. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Operate various tools and equipment, such as shears, and brakes
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools
  • Ability to operate shears and brakes
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
