Our client, a popular airline, is seeking an SEO Specialist to join their team.
This is a hybrid role 2-3 days onsite in Long Island City and 2-3 day remote
This is up to 40 hours a week for for up 6 months to start with the possibility to extend
Responsibilities:
The person selected will develop and implement DTC SEO strategies, to drive website traffic and improve search rankings. They will be collaborating with cross-functional teams being sure there is effective implementation of SEO-optimized content. The person selected will create, edit, and optimize website content, for product descriptions, marketing copy, and landing pages. They will be responsible for publishing content using the CMS, analyzing website traffic and engagement metrics, to recommend improvements. The person selected will also have the opportunity to Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and drive conversions, and work with the IT team to implement changes.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years implementing SEO best practices and strategies for D2C projects
- Proficiency on tools like Google search console and SiteImprove
- Experance in industries like airline, travel, hospitality or retail
- 4+ years Proven track record in creating, implementing, and optimizing SEO content strategies
- 4+ years in strong expertise in SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization
- Experience in making edits in CMS systems
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content aligned with brand voice
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with additional analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS or experience in A/B testing
- Experience optimize multimedia content (images, videos) for search engines
- Certification in SEO or digital marketing, such as Google Analytics or HubSpot certifications
- Experience collaborating with external agencies or vendors for large-scale projects
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
