This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What you will get to do:

• Oversee the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as a liaison.
• Responsible for the development, and implementation of new lab capabilities, in addition to the planning, operations and maintenance of the AVE Lab.
• Provide technical knowledge of various systems, design, development, implementation, and testing with a strong foundation in laboratory integration and test.
• Drive process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and lab requirements.
• Drive technical and process rigor for lab configuration.
• Track leading indicator technical metrics to detect and prevent issues.
• Ensure lab assets meet test requirements for formal testing.
• Continually coordinate lab status and issues and solutions with the IPT and across IPTs.
• Continually seek to improve lab integration & test engineering rigor and efficiency.
• Ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests.
• Responsible for testing all customer samples.
• Oversee the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management.
• Review status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test.
• Assess anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience in a technical role OR Masters Degree plus 0 years of experience in a technical role or 4 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret Clearance:
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline
• Knowledge in SAP
• Knowledge with Atlassian Suite
• Extensive knowledge with receiving hardware and hardware checkout

Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
