Job Description

The Sr Specialist, Contract Analyst is responsible for contract adjudication, analysis, and customer contact and coordination activities in support of customers spanning Hospital GPO, Oncology GPO, 340B, etc. This particular position will support our Company's Purchase Based Contracting customers and will require robust technical skills and business acumen. The highest level of compliance with contract terms and conditions, regulatory requirements, and laws is required, while also striving for strong business partnership and customer transaction excellence.

The ideal candidate will support our customers in the administration, performance reporting, and analytics for Purchase Based Contracting agreements in the segment entered into by Integrated Account Management (IAM) that involve discounts, rebates, and other payments based on the purchase and use of our Company products. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring the accuracy of calculated discounts as well as compliance of contract terms and conditions including mandated Government Pricing Programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use of our Company systems to support the contract administration and payment processing for assigned customers.

  • Contract language/term and condition advisement and consultation with key stakeholders.

  • Planning and executing appropriate research activities required to provide and validate data needed for recommendations on existing and proposed contract issues.

  • Development and implementation of data, models, and processes to evaluate, analyze and support contract development, compliance, performance and pull-through activities.

  • Presents results to internal customers, including Integrated Account Management, and coordinates with external customers on the adjudication of payments.

  • Provide advanced analytical and reporting support for the appropriate Purchase Base Contracting customer segments requiring in-depth knowledge of customer segments data and business dynamics.

  • Provide analytical and reporting support for legal requests as well as internal/external audits.

  • Support key assigned point project responsibilities.

  • Building and developing internal and external customer relationships, including the ability to engage in business development type discussions and successfully maintain and grow a customer relationship.

Education:

  • BS/BA Degree required.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong customer engagement, communication, and support skills.

  • Effective organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Highly advanced computer and software skills and aptitude.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation of data.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience with working with large data sets and tools.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management process

  • Knowledge of managed health care environment

  • Knowledge of COGNOS and SQL

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access
