This position will support product development, management of Ameriprise Bank deposit products, focusing on deposit product design, development, and implementation contributing to the successful growth of Ameriprise Bank. Initially, the role will be an individual contributor with potential future leadership opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and implement a comprehensive roadmap for digital deposit products, focusing on checking accounts and ensuring alignment with the needs of our investment clients and prospective customers.
- End-to-End Product Management: Oversee multiple initiatives from concept through market launch, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
- Feature Development: Identify, develop, and maintain product features and enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and drive product adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various business units-including sales, marketing, operations, and risk management-to create and optimize end-to-end product management processes that enhance service delivery and customer engagement.
- Product Oversight: Manage the established deposit products, including financial forecasting and monitoring, pricing strategies, and analytics to inform decision-making and improve the customer experience.
- Requirements Documentation: Translate product vision into actionable requirements, guiding the development team in executing product features effectively.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate in creating compelling marketing materials and campaigns to promote deposit products, leveraging both creative and analytical skills to maximize impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Drive results by effectively communicating and collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external partners, including technology, finance, compliance, and marketing teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of progressive career experience with financial services industry preferred.
- Proven track record in the development and launch of bank deposit products and features.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results.
- Familiarity in pricing strategy, business analytics, and risk management related to deposit products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create impactful presentations for executive audiences.
- Leadership experience in fostering collaboration across various departments and external partners to achieve product goals.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and develop compelling business cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deposit product management and marketing for Checking, Savings, CD's, or other similar products.
- Preferred focus on checking products in a national or large regional bank.
- Familiarity with core banking platforms (FIS platforms preferred) and other financial technology vendors.
- Experience in crafting deposit marketing offers.
- Knowledge or experience in wealth management or the investment industry.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $98,100 - $132,400 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
