Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultative guidance to advisors to address varying client needs using insurance solutions, planning techniques and advanced strategies.
- Evaluate client goals, assess existing coverage and insurability, and develop creative and customized solutions and designs for advisors, providing approved sales materials and illustrations as needed.
- Deliver inbound and outbound phone and virtual consultation and email support for financial advisors using Salesforce as a territory management tool to track activity and manage pipelines.
- Support advisors with coaching, pre-sale consultation, product training, licensing, compliance, and new business inquiries. Aid in client calls as needed and act as the liaison between advisors and carriers.
- Develop broad expertise of Insurance, LTC and DI offerings to effectively guide advisors to appropriate brokerage general agency (BGA) or carrier. Build and maintain effective relationships with multiple departments, carrier contacts, and other key resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry, carriers and products, as well as advanced insurance concepts including high net worth individuals and business owners.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing insurance products and broker dealers.
- Active Series 6 or Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days.
- Active State securities agent registration (Series 63 or Series 66) or the ability to obtain within 150 days.
- Life, Accident/Health, and Variable Contracts insurance licenses or ability to obtain within 150 days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance experience in independent distribution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, relationship management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills to solve complex problems and identify product solutions, along with high attention to detail and personal accountability and proven advisor coaching skills.
- Background in brokered insurance, providing consultative case design and analysis.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $80,100 - $108,100 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
