Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dynamic Senior Event Manager to join our Corporate Brand & Communications team. This role is based in Charlotte, NC and responsible for the end-to-end management of customer hospitality events, strategic partnership activations, and other enterprise-wide company events as needed throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event planning and execution, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Event Planning and Execution: Lead the development, planning, and execution of customer hospitality events, working across a myriad of internal stakeholders and executive leadership teams, demonstrating command and ensuring alignment with Honeywell's brand and strategic objectives. Build complex logistics plans ensuring successful attendee experiences that deliver best-in-class event experiences that build brand awareness, increase sales and improve organizational alignment.

* Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. Accurately forecasting and ensuring resources are well allocated to deliver program objectives.

* Vendor Coordination: Identify, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships and related contracts to deliver high-quality event experiences.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various internal teams, including marketing, communications, and product divisions, to ensure cohesive event strategies and messaging.

* Post-Event Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of events, gathering feedback and analyzing outcomes to ensure event effectiveness and inform future event strategies.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in event management, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.

* Demonstrated success in managing large-scale events and related activations with a proven ability to oversee multiple projects independently.

* Excellent project management skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and take decisive action to remedy onsite issues and minimize negative impact

* Proficiency in event management software and tools.

* Ability to travel as required for event execution.

Nice to have:

* Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

* Excellent project management skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and take decisive action to remedy onsite issues and minimize negative impact
