About the role of Senior Risk Adjustment Operations Department Coordinator

As the Senior Risk Adjustment Operations Department Coordinator, you will be providing administrative and project support for data submissions, audits, and medical record retrieval. This is a critical and time-sensitive role for Premera to remain compliant with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) deadlines for audits, and the submission and management of enrollment, medical claims, pharmacy claims, and supplemental data files and error remediation. This Coordinator will be supporting and/or coordinating projects to meet risk adjustment objectives through tracking, report generation, support of invoice management, source system research, outbound calls to providers to aid in removing medical record retrieval barriers, and support of key initiatives such as managing workflow of medical records between Premera and our vendor partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and/or participate as a team member on assigned projects. Track and distribute project management documentation including project plan, scope and deliverables, stakeholder analysis and other pertinent documents to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist team members with production of materials and/or related projects/program documents, including administrative management of on-going or ad hoc reports, development of tables, charts, graphs, consolidated information, text, etc.
  • Assist in support and execution of team, department, project and/or program strategies or goals to achieve business objectives.
  • Develops and/or maintains websites, blogs and/or other department specific databases, systems and/or SharePoint sites.
  • Provide office assistance to team members that would include scheduling meetings, managing deadlines, ordering supplies, tracking data, managing meeting logistics, etc.
  • Help manage vendor relationships.
  • Manage and monitor development and execution of internal and external department, team and/or project calendars.
  • Manage distribution of various team, department and/or project/program communications, products/artifacts and/or information to a wide range of internal audiences.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for the department, team and/or projects/programs.
  • Manage department budget and track invoices.
  • Manage department business unit goal tracking and related processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years’ administrative support experience. (Required)
  • Four (4) years’ project support experience including managing project details, logistics, data, metrics, budgets, and/or tracking services. (Required)
  • Experience working in a similar type of department (Risk Adjustment, Quality) or comparable work environment (Healthcare). (Preferred)
  • Has worked in an organization with Government oversight of some kind and/or a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity and experience with information mining, social media applications and/or research.
  • Must be customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with emerging processes and procedures.
  • Able to drive end-to-end projects from planning to execution with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Eager to go the extra mile and think outside the box.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Quick thinker, confident in their decision-making ability.
  • Able to adhere to deadlines and budgets while managing and coordinating multiple sub-projects.
  • Able to track and report on measurable activity directly connected to all manner of public affairs, internal communications, and other related communications initiatives as appropriate.
  • Team player who can take initiative and work within department priorities.

Working Environment:

  • Work is performed within a normal office environment with ambient temperatures.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$60,300.00 - $96,500.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
