We are looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join our team in Chicago!
At Conagra, Senior Demand Planners specialize in forecasting for iconic and emerging food brands and contributing to our results by leading cross-functional teams to land on a forecast that informs action across our company. We use a data-driven approach to predict consumer behaviors and marketplace trends, guiding our forecasting choices, and affecting decisions about how we manage and invest in our brands.
Our demand planning team forecasts what Conagra will sell in the marketplace and to our customers, allowing our partners to support the contemporizing and growth of brands through untapped opportunities that appeal to consumers. Our teams rely on our approach to identify growth opportunities and making the right investments in innovation and product modernization. We collaborate across our organization to deliver our customers the right products, at the right place, and at the right time.
Your Impact:
As a Senior Demand Planner, you will lead partners from Brand Marketing, Finance, and Sales through a monthly forecasting process that defines what our customers and consumers will purchase over the next rolling 18-month horizon. The forecast you create will be used as a basis for company financial reporting, capital investment, and as a signal to our supply planning teams for production, warehousing, and transportation planning. Mentoring is a big part of the role, and you will train and support new planners and set up other planners for success with your leadership and expertise. You will report to a Demand Planning Manager.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required
- 3+ years with consumer products forecasting or supply chain operations experience
- Experience in or exposure to Sales and Operations Planning processes, customer planning or supply planning
- Experience with any forecasting application or supply planning software and/or SAP, APO, SAS
- Experience with or knowledge of Circana and other external customer data sources
- Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v lookup, formulas)
- Project management experience

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
