Our client in the Public Policy sector is looking for a Senior Data Visualization Designer to join their team full time, fully remote. The Senior Data Visualization Designer will make an incredible impact within a progressive think tank, translating complex data sets into impactful and dynamic visualizations.
Senior Data Visualization Designer Responsibilities:
- Create dynamic data visualizations for publications, digital articles, reports, and other advocacy channels.
- Work within Tableau, Datawrapper, and other associated tools, applying development fluency in HTML and JavaScript to create custom visualizations.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to kickoff new visualization requests, providing recommendations and insights to achieve the best final outcome that conveys the goals and objectives.
- Intake and track projects within Asana, ensuring all communication and status updates are recorded accordingly.
- Deliver data visualizations that align with data goas and objectives and support brand guidelines and requirements.
Senior Data Visualization Designer Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven data visualization experience; Tableau, Datawrapper, HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills required.
- Strong portfolio showcasing proven data visualization skills; ideally within the public policy sector.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills to own projects from kickoff through to execution while contributing thoughtfully to the overall work.
