Advanced Hardware Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (St.
Charles, IL)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc).
Assist in product and process certification and agency approval for customer acceptance.
Guide engineers, technicians, and associates to ensure project and product compliance.
Present to leadership and external customers.
Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to pertinent parties.
Establish and follow methodologies for new or existing concepts.
Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles.
Suggest enhancements to advance projects.

Job Site: St. Charles, IL
40 hours/week

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of electrical engineering experience. Full term of experience must include: architecture experience drafting requirements, use cases, and solution design; Electrical design tools experience; experience planning and executing project subtasks (designing, testing, etc.); experience assisting in product and process certification and agency approval for customer acceptance; and experience communicating any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to pertinent parties. Up to 5% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
