As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer you will join a collaborative team working to develop innovative artificial intelligence techniques to improve matching of candidates to jobs.

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Developer with experience in Python to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data models, productionizing those models, and deploying and maintaining those production services. The ideal candidate will be able to take a raw dataset and build a new model, deploy that model in a production microservice, and maintain it in production. The candidate should be skilled in machine learning mathematics and data analysis concepts and has experience with tools and techniques to create and train models: NLP, Scikit-Learn, numpy, pandas. Additional experience with LLMs and prompt engineering as well as connecting to external data sources via building AI agents/RAG/langchain is desired.

Duties/Responsibilities/Primary Function:
• Thinks creatively to research and apply latest AI techniques to a problem space; evaluates effectiveness of solutions.
• Designs data model
• Develop and maintain machine learning and data analysis applications using Python
• Work with large datasets to train and evaluate machine learning models.
• Design and implement APIs and data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in code refactoring and optimization to improve performance and scalability.
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality code.

• Takes ownership of the success of projects; responsible for meeting schedules
• Researches & estimates effort to integrate with third-party services and application components to support projects.
• Coaches team to learn and apply improvements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in machine learning and data science.
Required Skills/Abilities/Profile:
• At least 5 years of experience in software development with Python.
• Experience in the Job Recruiter space is a plus.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with large datasets to train and evaluate machine learning models.
• Familiarity with APIs and cloud computing platforms, like AWS, SageMaker, or Bedrock.
• Strong programming skills, including experience with object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, and testing frameworks.
• Expert problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent design & organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment requiringminimal direction/oversight
• Continual improvement and self-learning

Education and Experience:
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development or machine learning development.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Remote position - must be able to align with Eastern Time Zone work hours.
