As the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping personalized communications that reach millions of students, parents, and professionals annually. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production, management, and deployment of email and SMS campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging communications that adhere to brand and legal standards. Your expertise in HTML coding, SFMC, and email best practices will be essential to transforming text-based content into dynamic, responsive emails that drive engagement and impact.
Overview:
As the SFMC Email Specialist, you will manage the entire lifecycle of email and SMS campaigns, from coding and editing to proofing, quality assurance, and deployment. Collaborating closely with marketers and stakeholders, you will ensure communications meet deadlines and align with brand guidelines. Your technical skills in HTML, SFMC, and data management will be crucial for creating impactful campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned email and SMS projects through all production phases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce and deploy communications, meeting deadlines.
- Securely manage and upload contact lists.
- Code HTML emails from text documents and assist in template creation.
- Ensure communications meet brand and legal standards, documenting processes as needed.
- Analyze campaigns, recommend best practices, and explore A/B testing and new email trends.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy laws.
- Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio.
- Strong project management skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience coding HTML emails, managing contact lists, and deploying communications via an email service provider.
- Experience with responsive email design.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, communication, attention-to-detail, and project-management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and execute company-specific email production processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with data extensions, automations, journeys, filters, and triggers in SFMC.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.
- Experience using AmpScript.
- SQL knowledge.
- Working knowledge of CloudPages and JavaScript.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.50 to $45.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
