- Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
- Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
- Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
- Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.

- Full-timeSeasonal weekly requirements arethree 12-hour night shifts (7p- 7a) for the 13-week contract (excludes 1stweek of orientation)
- $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
- $51 Seasonal rate.
- Eligible for shift differentials. $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day) so if you worked a weekend night, you would be paid $51 + $5 + $6.
- Weekend requirements are the same as regular FT- Rotating weekends
- The first week is Monday- Friday orientation.
- Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.
- A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of (2) years Med/Surg/Tele RN experience
- A valid Registered Nurse license
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
