JOB SUMMARY
As a Revenue Manager, you will assist the Area Director of Revenue with overseeing revenue and pricing strategies for Dream Downtown. Your role will directly impact our revenue goals by driving strategic decisions on inventory management, client negotiations, and revenue optimization. This role is pivotal in maximizing revenue opportunities and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue and Pricing Strategy: Assist Area DORM with developing and implementing pricing, ensuring alignment with market demand, competitive landscape, and revenue goals.
- Strategically allocate space and dates to optimize venue inventory, maximizing revenue and ensuring maximum occupancy at the highest possible rates.
- Proactively partner with the sales team to advance bookings, ensure forecasting accuracy, and identify opportunities within the pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
- Client Negotiations and Quote Approvals: Assist Area DORM in leading high-stakes client negotiations, approve quotes, and manage concessions to secure bookings that align with revenue goals while preserving value perception.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Create accurate forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and demand projections. Regularly review and adjust as needed to meet revenue targets.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data and reporting to uncover trends, identify risks, and capitalize on opportunities, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making across venues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Assist Area DORM in leading revenue optimization calls with stakeholders from sales, marketing, and operations. Present insights, review performance metrics, and collaborate on strategies to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities.
- Revenue Strategy and Optimization: Continuously evaluate revenue performance across venues, identifying and implementing strategies to drive growth, optimize yield, and align with broader company objectives.
- Ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports are up to date and completed in accordance with standardized company procedures.
- Developing and updating the Function space-selling calendar for the next 12 months.
- Closely working on selling strategies and capacity management with the Sales department.
- Ensuring regular follow up on group price quotations.
- Responsible for the efficient running of the reservations department in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies and Brand Standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.
Salary Range: $75,000- $85,000
Compensation is based on experience. This is position is property based. Candidates must be able to commit to a full-time role at the property level.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or a related field, ideally within the hospitality or events industry.
- Proven expertise in revenue and pricing strategy development, inventory management, and client negotiations.
- Strong decision-making and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to real-time data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting insights and leading discussions with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, power query, and advanced formulas.
- Strong knowledge of Hyatt systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
