You are a creative and innovative thinker, with proven skills in retail design and space utilization. As a Retail Designer, you will be designing and creating attractive visual displays for all things related to visual merchandising, in-store installations as well as smaller brand marketing print projects and so much more! As part of our team, you would work on seasonal campaigns, product launches, and help us change the way the world thinks about sunscreen.
Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the Creative Director on defining the in-store brand identity and presence in various global retailers, including but not limited to Sephora (US and international markets), Ulta, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Blue Mercury
• Prepare planograms and print-ready files for visual merchandising purposes
• Aid in ideation of concept stores, pop-up spaces, and events
• Create a cohesive retail experience for the consumer between online and offline spaces
• Ideate and execute brand assets collaboratively with the rest of the Design team to create a 360 experience for seasonal and evergreen campaigns
• Create both print and digital assets for live and virtual events
• Collaborate with the Retail Marketing team to gain insight into the workings of retailers' and vendors timelines, production calendars, material recommendations, and file delivery protocols
• Develop limited-edition packaging for multi-branded projects
Qualifications:
• 3-6 years of design work experience
• Relevant design experience in beauty, fashion, or retail preferred
• Understanding of both digital and creative landscape
• Strong understanding of typography and graphic design principles
• Must have strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (any 3D rendering experience is a plus, but not necessary!)
• Ability to understand brand guidelines and apply to a various range of projects
• Strong organization and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Comfortable taking direction, pivoting quickly, and balancing multiple projects simultaneously
• A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively, and is eager to take on new challenges
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40-45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
