Are you passionate about pioneering research in recombinant protein and antibody development? We're looking for a dedicated Research Associate to join ourMolecular & Cellular Biology (MCBio) team and help drive innovation in the development of cutting-edge products.
In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in developing new recombinant protein/antibody products by supporting ongoing projects and collaborating with a talented team of scientists. Your responsibilities will include preparing buffer solutions, culturing mammalian cells, and purifying recombinant proteins/antibodies using standard operating procedures. You'll also be involved in transferring products for testing, documenting progress, and maintaining inventories of our products.

Essential Functions

- Maintain mammalian cell culture and perform transfections
- Purify and further process recombinant proteins & antibodies to meet specifications
- Prepare various buffers and reagents for experiments while maintaining general upkeep of the lab
- Documentation of experiments and generation of reports in conjunction with other research staff
- Maintain batch records and other documentations that are essential to be in compliance with ISO13485:2016
- Effectively work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with many projects
- Critically analyze experiments and plan for future experiments
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in biology or a related field
- 2-3+ years of experience with mammalian cell culture
Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Expression & purification of recombinant proteins & antibodies
- Well-organized and great attention-to-detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communicator & presenter
- Lead/conduct experimental studies with minimal supervision
The base salary range for this full-time position is$29.00 - 32.00/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
