Project Manager

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee audio and video projects, particularly in the podcasting space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project management, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results while fostering collaboration within the team.

This is a 16-20 hour/week freelance opportunity that will be hybrid in Charlottesville, VA. The client would like someone who can be onsite 3 days/week, but they're open to someone who can commute from Richmond at least 1 day/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audio and video projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively using project management tools such as Monday or Trello.
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and report on performance metrics regularly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the audio or video production industry.
• Strong knowledge of podcast production processes and techniques.
• Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Monday is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
