Project Manager (Agency)
*This role is 40-hours a week. Must be onsite Tu-Th, remote Monday and Friday. Office is in Greenway Plaza*
A Houston as agency is seeking a skilled Project/Traffic Manager to join its growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing creative projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget.
This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, and a strong emphasis on collaborative communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex brand and creative projects in an agency environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with brand management.
- Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress and manage tasks.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and integrated marketing team members.
- Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration among team members.
- Help reinforce understanding and adherence to new processes and practices the agency is deploying.
- Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address project issues and challenges, minimizing disruptions.
- Provide solutions to problems that arise during the project.
- Generate regular project status reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience working within a marketing or creative agency
- 5+ years of project management experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Asana, Monday, Workfront). Experience with Workamajig, Teams, and Ziflow is a plus
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
