Working as a Program Controls Analyst II EA Consolidator at BAE Systems Inc. Space and Mission Systems (SMS) is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-tech team of people developing innovative products for the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will be responsible for developing a multi-year plan that the manufacturing centers must follow to produce the customer deliverable. Tasks are performed under the general direction of program schedulers, EA Management, and functional managers, plus mentoring of senior Project Controls staff.
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Working as a Program Controls Analyst II EA Consolidator at BAE Systems Inc. You will be responsible for developing a multi-year plan that the manufacturing centers must follow to produce the customer deliverable. Tasks are performed under the general direction of program schedulers, EA Management, and functional managers, plus mentoring of senior Project Controls staff.

What You'll Do:
- Review the program technical requirements and work with the project controls staff to build a schedule plan that ensures requirements are met.
- Support the Project Controls staff on assigned programs with:
- Leading the Execution Area detail schedule baseline development that encompasses the requirements and meets program and work center needs.
- Developing and managing the Manufacturing Integrated Master Schedule (MIMS) for the programs.
- Ensuring Giver/Receiver accuracy at the Program IMS (PIMS), MIMS, and detailed EA schedules; i.e. missing links and mis-aligned dates between EA detailed schedules and PIMS.
- Integrating EA detailed schedules and PIMS to determine program critical paths (Forward Pass Process).
- Ensuring all required enterprise fields are populated, and EA detailed schedules are published for use on EA dashboards and management reporting.
- Reviewing changes to durations and logic from EA schedules and incorporate into MIMS. Communicating with program scheduler all status and changes from EA schedules, including reasons for changes.
- Working with EA leadership to convey upcoming work forecasts for different work centers.
- Developing schedule reports and analysis that provides status to support customer deliverables.
- Recovery schedule development and implementation.
- What-if schedule inputs, and analysis.
- Support weekly Execution Area Management presentation and Metric development using schedule data.
- Work with Technicians, Responsible Engineers, and the Manufacturing Engineers on the production floor to ensure scheduled work for Programs is being communicated effectively.
- Develop production-based calendars using schedule data that can be utilized for on the floor forecasting, capacity, and priority decision making.
- Work with the material planning group to understand Statement Of Work (SOW) Bill Of Material (BOM) requirements that can be integrated into the Program IMS.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Experience in schedule development and maintenance.
- Solid knowledge and proven experience in utilizing business principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting, coordinating group initiatives in order to bring a project to completion.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Experience using Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience in and understanding of manufacturing planning process.
