Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually (Dependent on Experience)
Schedule: Monday, Friday, 10pm. - 6:30am. with flexibility to cover Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of production personnel while overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise team of production employees; ensure team is adequately staffed, managed, trained and evaluated
Monitor the production process and perform routine checks to ensure that work is carried out according to standard operating procedure
Ensure equipment within assigned area is in proper working order at all times
Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up and supervise change-overs
Manage line efficiencies, key performance indicators and down time
Manage within budgetary and operational guidelines
Make recommendations and implement processes to improve the overall efficiency, quality and safety of production operations

Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
A minimum of 3 years of Production or Manufacturing experience required

Previous supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred
Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred; forklift certification a plus
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
Intermediate computer and database skills
Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively supervise and motivate employees
