Product & Wardrobe Stylist – Photo Studio (Project Based)

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Product & Wardrobe Stylist to join our Photo Studio team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have experience styling products, particularly pet accessories and apparel, with an eye for detail and composition. This role requires someone who can elevate our product presentation through expert styling, bringing our pet-focused merchandise to life in photography and video shoots.
Key Responsibilities
- Style and arrange pet products, accessories, apparel, and lifestyle items for photo and video shoots
- Create visually appealing compositions that highlight product features and enhance brand storytelling
- Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and marketing teams to achieve desired visual outcomes
- Source and select appropriate props to complement products and establish context
- Prepare and maintain styling kits with necessary tools and supplies
- Handle products with care and attention to detail, ensuring they appear at their best
- Adapt styling approaches to meet different campaign needs and brand guidelines
- Manage time efficiently to complete styling within production schedules
- Stay current on pet industry trends, seasonal themes, and styling techniques
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a product stylist, visual merchandiser, or wardrobe stylist
- Strong portfolio demonstrating styling capabilities, particularly for consumer products
- Excellent eye for composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
- Understanding of photography and lighting principles as they relate to styling
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into styled arrangements
- Knowledge of pet products and accessories preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis for various projects throughout the year
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shoots
- Capacity to lift and arrange products weighing up to 30 pounds
- Manual dexterity for precise product handling and styling

The target hiring compensation range is project-based and on a daily rate between $300-400/day , depending on experience. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
