Our major Healthcare client is committed to building solutions that improve customer journeys and business outcomes at scale. Their Benefits Administration team supports this commitment by designing human-centered, intuitive experiences that enable their members to take full advantage of their health plan benefits. Our client is seeking a Product Designer to drive the user experience and design of Benefits Administration experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and supportive of our organizational goals.
The Benefits Administration Product Designer will be responsible for understanding and enhancing Benefits Administration experiences. This role requires a dedication to improving the health plan experience of the members, empowering them to effortlessly understand and engage with their health plan benefits while driving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
User Research & Analysis
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand priorities, success criteria and objectives related to health plan engagement
- Analyze member needs and the tasks they perform within their health plan
- Define common user types and journey maps to guide design efforts
Design Leadership
- Create intuitive and efficient user interfaces that empower members to understand and engage with their health plan benefits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and customer support to align design objectives with platform capabilities
- Advocate for user-centered design practices and ensure consistent application of design principles
Prototyping & Testing
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications
- Lead evaluative testing sessions and iterate on designs based on feedback
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met or exceeded
Project Management
- Drive projects from concept to execution, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally utilized
- Communicate design strategy and updates to stakeholders and teams across the organization
- Assess project outcomes and iterate on process improvements
Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on highly-regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance)
- Proven track record of designing intuitive and scalable user interfaces for complex, configurable product experiences
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. Figma)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a dedication to continuous learning and improvement
Must Have Skills:

- UX/UI
- Cross-functional team collaboration
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in HCI, Product Design, UX or related fields
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57 to $64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
