Responsibilities
Enterprise Business Services – Operational Excellence is hiring three Process Engineers to lead and drive process improvement through supported business areas. The role will oversee reviews, redesign, and implementation of identified opportunities. Scope of work will include P&C Underwriting, Billing, and contact centers under the Enterprise Care Center (ECC)
- Completing assignments supporting large, cross-segment and/or cross-departmental process improvement initiatives that require foundational technical/ functional skills and expertise.
- Developing a deep understanding of operational structure, work segmentation, detailed workflows, and processes related to project assignments.
- Applying in-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operating principles to drive business results.
- Developing standardized processes.
- Gathering, classifying, and analyzing data relevant to projects, processes, and operational metrics.
- Communicating results of research and analysis for complex business issues.
- Utilizing appropriate methods and tools to perform foundational data collection and analysis.
Work Locations: Bloomington, IL-Corporate, Dunwoody, GA-ParkCenter Hub, Richardson, TX-CityLine Hub or Tempe, AZ-Marina Heights Hub locations.
Hybrid Work arrangement: A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home.
Incumbency: This position will have a 12-month incumbency period for a lateral move and a 6-month incumbency period for a promotional opportunity (beginning on the effective date of the position) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
Note: Candidates selected for further consideration will be required to submit and present work samples and/or supplemental interview assignment.
Qualifications
- Current or prior experience in a Process Engineer/Analyst or similar role.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (trend identification, interpreting data, statistical testing).
- Experience leading design projects and testing outcomes to deliver solutions that result in ROI.
- Effectively measuring cost/benefit analyses for project prioritization and/or implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Prior experience with EOM, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives with various levels of employees and leadership.
- Drive pace with assigned projects.
- Commitment to working in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing timelines.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
- Independent thinking.

Potential starting salary range: $78,081.25 - $175,000.00
