Oversee the physical protection, security, and crime prevention for a segment of the Company's property and assets. Review, recommend, implement, and oversees company security systems and physical security controls. Ensure successful implementation of security deliverables in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Respond to significant events, evaluate risks and mitigation factors involving Truist teammates, clients and assets in an assigned geographical area. Make modifications or recommendations as needed to reduce exposure to risk of future crimes or life safety risk factors.
2. Accountable for physical security, crime control, and life safety operations within a defined area of responsibility. Of which includes evaluating, documenting and correcting risk exposure identified in facilities.
3. Establish and maintain positive working relationships between peers and managers as well as clients, investigators, vendors, and other internal partners. Required to maintain confidentiality when consulting with business partners as it pertains to recommendations to reduce crime or limit losses.
4. Liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement authorities for significant incidents affecting the general business operations of Truist.
5. 24/7 availability including on-call responsibilities.
6. Oversee Corporate Security training for bank personnel to include bank policies, equipment operations, life safety, and security awareness.
7. Working knowledge of security equipment at facilities. Apply key business processes and practical experience to solve a range of straightforward problems.
The annual base salary for this position is $95,000
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Four or more years of experience in security operations, security consulting, facility project coordination, law enforcement with emphasis on crime prevention or comparable work experience.
3. Ability to manage competing priorities.
4. Analyze possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.
5. Work under minor supervision.
6. Strong verbal/written communication and ability to communicate complex information in straight forward manner.
7. Demonstrated proficiency to learn multiple software applications and advanced Microsoft Office software products.
8. Ability to travel when needed on short notice for up to a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. At least one security industry related certification such as ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), etc.
2. 4 years or more of experience through local, state, or federal law enforcement or military
