Job Summary

The Solutions Executive, Partner Sales role is a strategic relationship builder and technical subject matter expert with a passion for driving growth through Technology Services Distributor (TSD) partnerships. The Solutions Executive, Partner Sales will lead the charge in expanding our reach through national indirect sales channels and provide technical expertise (specifically with SDWAN and cybersecurity products) to distributors to best position Comcast Business and Comcast Business Global portfolios. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role, and the driving force behind partner success by empowering TSDs to deliver Comcast Business solutions to their customers. This is a remote-based position with the ideal candidate residing in Colorado to best support the TSD partner/distributor; up to 50% regional/national travel to engage partners face-to-face, foster relationships, and drive results.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Champion the Comcast Business Portfolio:Educate and enable national channel partners to effectively position and sell the Comcast Business portfolio to their enterprise end-users.
  • Drive Revenue Growth:Consistently exceed monthly sales targets by activating and expanding relationships with TSDs. Meet individual/team quotas as established by organization's business objectives.
  • Strategic Partner Planning:Collaborate with partners to develop and execute joint business plans that align with quarterly and annual sales, marketing, and operational goals.
  • Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a technical sales expert to TSD partners and provide training and education on Comcast Business solutions.
  • Operational Excellence:Lead regular business reviews and operational check-ins to identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Sales Enablement:Deliver impactful training, tools, and resources to empower partners to succeed in a competitive marketplace. Sell or manage sales of integrated communication structure to enterprise customers (multi-site regional businesses or national accounts).
  • Pipeline Management:Maintain accurate sales forecasts and funnel visibility through SalesForce, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and successful product installations, from order acceptance to post-sale support.
  • Be the Voice of the Partner:Serve as the primary liaison for all sales-related partner needs, advocating internally to drive results.
  • Be the Comcast Business Liaison in the relationship with the TSD field sales teams, selling partners and Comcast Business.Consistently using exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance that help grow our relationships in the field.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experiencein indirect channel sales, with a proven track record of success working with indirect partners/distributors, specifically TSDs.
  • Proven ability to assess customer technology requirements and deliver tailored, multi-technology solutions encompassing cybersecurity, SD-WAN, cloud services, and more.
  • Strong technical sales experience with complex networking technology solutions:
    • Demonstrates knowledge of Network Design, SDWAN, Network Security/Cybersecurity, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
    • Familiar with MAN technologies & designs including WDM, Ethernet, Internet Technologies, Functionality & Services.
    • Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP), Data Networking Technologies, Functionality & Services (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN).
    • Networking Protocols (with an emphasis on Layers 1,2, & 3), Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data).
  • Demonstrated ability toconsistently meet or exceed sales quotasand key performance indicators.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency inSalesforce and/or other CRM/reporting tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally and nationally up to 50%.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $85,800.00 - $160,160.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Targeted Commission: $80,000

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
